Dual inverter control witch is proposed by foreign scholars is a special form ofmulti-level converter. It has the same voltage output ability with traditionalthree-level inverter converter. Dual inverter control is equipped with the advantagesof traditional multi-level inverter technology. At the same time, it has a uniquefault-tolerant ability. In recent years dual inverter control has become an overseasresearch focus. For dual inverter control open-end winding induction motor vectorcontrol system, the motor mathematical model, dual-inverter SVPWM control,inhibition of the common-mode voltage modulation strategy, system simulation andexperimental platform building are studied in-depth.Based on analysis of the open-end winding motor structure, the mathematicalmodels in three phase static coordinate system, two phase static coordinate systemand two phase rotating coordinate are built. According to the mathematic model inthree phase static coordinate, the MATLAB model of open-end winding inductionmotor is established. Based on this MATLAB model, dual inverter control method isapplied in open-end winding induction motor control together with vector controlmethod. Dual inverter SVPWM method is studied including voltage vectordistribution, sector identification, voltage vector selection and duty calculat ion.After that, common mode voltage is studied. With reasonable selection of voltagevector, a SVPWM method in whole modulation range is proposed which couldsuppress the common mode voltage between two inverters. With this method, motoroperating performance is promoted.A dual inverter control open-end winding induction motor vector controlsystem simulation model is established with MATLAB/SIMULINK. Theoreticalanalysis and mathematical derivation are verified with the SIMULINK simulationmodel. Finally, complete system of the hardware and software design of the wholesystem is completed used TI TMS320LF2812as the main chip. Experimental studyis carried on the hardware platform. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibilityof this dual-inverter-based open-winding induction motor vector control system.
