High efficiency and high power density power is a hot research in the field ofpower electronics. However, the design and optimization of the magnetic elements aredifficult. This paper studies the design and optimization of magnetic components in theLLC resonant converter. Before the design of magnetic components, need to obtaintheir electrical parameters. Therefore, the paper also analyzes the design of LLCresonant parameters.First of all, this paper studies the impact of the skin effect and proximity effect onthe winding loss. Based on Maxwell differential equations, this paper has derivedone-dimensional solution of skin effect losses, proximity effect losses and eddy currentloss. Meanwhile, the paper investigates the relationship between eddy current lossesand the copper foil thickness.Secondly, this paper studies the optimal design method of the LLChigh-frequency transformer. Based on the optimal design principles of the balancedtransformer winding loss and core loss, the paper analyzes the theoretical calculationsof the multi-layer winding loss and core loss calculation, also studies the optimaldesign of the transformer winding arrangement and the optimal design of the wirediameter to obtain the minimum winding losses.Then the paper analyzes the optimal design of the LLC high-frequency inductors.To obtain the magnetizing inductance, the core can be gapped, and an inductor can alsobe parallel in the transformer primary side. To obtain the resonant inductance, theresonant inductor and transformer can be integrated, and also can be a separatewinding. The paper was carried out detailed analysis. At the same time, the paper alsoanalyzes the impact of the air-gap winding losses, as well as the optimal design ofhigh-frequency inductor air gap.At last, this paper also examined the optimal design of LLC resonant parameters.Because magnetizing inductance, resonant inductor and resonant capacitor threeparameters affect each other, parameter design is very complex. This paper uses thegraphic method of design, this method is simple and clear physical meaning.
