With the development of smart grid technology, distribution systems haveevolved from the traditional way, which just realizes the power distribution to theusers or lower-level systems, to a complex power exchange system, where changingand dispersed electric energy will be collected and delivered to each user. This can bedescribed as from passive to active, namely active distribution network.Around some potential problems about the active distribution network operationand planning, this thesis makes some preliminary analysis and modeling work asfollows.Based on the characteristics of distributed generation sources, it is studied in thethesis about how to use distributed power model to carry out the actual systemanalysis in operation and planning, and several types of main energy storage anddistributed powers are analyzed in terms of its control methods and operatingcharacteristics.Considering uncertain distributed power supply of PV generation, systemreactive power characteristic analysis with PV output variation characteristics is doneto discuss how the photovoltaic power generation system influences overall reactivepower support for the distribution systems under different permeability ofphotovoltaic generation.Considering the ecofriendly and low-carbon requirements of the futuredistribution systems, different aspects of the active power distribution network areanalyzed and summarized, which are about low carbon characteristics of the activepower distribution network analysis and preliminary ideas. The initiative low carbonassessment methods about distribution network and the main approach are given. The corresponding research ideas above can provide references for the comingin-depth study.
