Power distribution network is an important component in power system which directly distribute power energy to the users. It's operational stability and reliability seriously influence the user's production and life. With the social development and improvement in people's living standard, people makes greater demands on energy quality and reliability. It's very urgent to put distribution management system in practice and realize distribution feeder automation for the sake of higher operational and managing level.This thesis makes a systematic research and analysis about distribution network, combined with the characters of distribution network, analyzes all components in distribution network such as distribution line, transformer, generator and load, and so on in detail, establishs mathematical model of all these components that adapt to analysis and control of distribution network. At the same time it expounds the problems about transformer model in network power flow calculation and supplys corresponding solutions.Distribution power flow calculation is the base of distribution network analysis, it is used to distribution dispatching, operation analysis, operation simulation, planning and design, also is the function that distribution reconfiguration and reactive optimization must call. This thesis discusses some effective algorithms that appear recently in distribution power flow calculation at length, for instance, back/forward sweep method, ZBUS method, Newton ZBUS method with modified method, loop-impendence equation method and so on. It gives basic calculation theories, calculation steps and some particular regarding issues of every algorithm, according to many examples validate the effect of algorithms and finally obtain the characters, rang of use, virtue and shortcoming of every algorithm. This thesis further modified some algorithms, unified handling of weakly meshed distribution network and PV nodes in back/forward sweep method, the handling of weakly meshed distribution network in ZBUS method, the handling of PV nodes in modified Newton ZBUS method. These improvements make this algorithm applicability improved greatly and accord with practical demand in distribution network analysis.Distribution network reconfiguration is a important means of distribution network analysis and control, benefit enhancing economy and reliability of distribution system and also is a important element of distribution management system. This thesis studys several distribution network reconfiguration algorithms detailedly, mostly concluding branch-exchange method, optimal flow pattern method, recursive fictitious flow method and hybrid flow pattern method. It analyzes theoretical basis of all algorithms, modified process and basic steps at length. Besides it simpTylniroduce other distribution reconfiguration algorithms and its development, compares the characters of all algorithms and puts forward a simplied recursive fictitious flow method, then according to a example proves the effect of some algorithms.
