Single-layer reticulated shell is one of the main forms of space structures. Thecollapse of structures will result in serious deaths and economic loss, also socialinfluence as well. At present lots of study on collapse mechanism of the structures hasbeen done at home and abroad, but lots of them are based on theory numerical modeling,so it is full of meaning and important value of project to study the collapse mechanismby the shaking table test to single-layer latticed cylindrical shell, summarizing itsresponse discipline. The shaking table experiments on a single-layer latticed cylindricalshell model were conducted by the multiple vibration table array system located in BJUT,and with ABAQUS the corresponding theory analysis was also conducted in order toverify the theory analysis conclusion from Research Group. The result revealed that theseismic response of experiment model went well with the theory analysis, and itsresponse law also went well with the conclusion from the Research Group, this is, theconclusion is reasonable.Kiln tail frame structure in cement plant is a kind of special structure, which is notonly high but also soft, and because of belonging to industry build, it is also limited bythe industrial art, and the load is complex; In addition,《Building Earthquake ResistantDesign Code》(GB50011-2010) comes up with higher requirement to the steel structures’earthquake resistant behavior. So, it is necessary to conduct seismic performance analysisto the Kiln tail frame structure system in cement plant. This paper conducted the seismicperformance analysis and assessment to a Kiln tail frame structure system, and adoptedmulti-scale finite element method to study the beams’ local stability; a lot of usefulconclusions to the real engineering application are obtained...
