The Latticed Intersected Cylindrical Shell(LICS) is made by some groups of cylindrical shell through intersection, the LICS have unique loading path and structural mechanism on account of the the ridge line, the valley line, and the special border terms. But the valley line of LICS is the junction point of load, stress concentration and stability problem restrict the application and development of LICS. Prestressing technique in the use of space structure develop rapidly in China,it can unload most members of shell, shift force to High Tensile Cables in order to redistribute the structural internal force and improve the stress state of structure, also can be repeatedly used the intensity of bar material. The efficiently implement the combining of prestress and LICS can increase the stiffness of shell, improve the mechanical, expand the scope of application, improve the economical efficiency of structure.According to the theoretical research and project example on prestressing technique in use of arch plane, rigid frame, cylindrical shell, reticulated shell, several schemes of cable layouts on pretensioned single-layer latticed intersected cylindrical shell(LICS) are put forward in the paper, after a comprehensive comparison analysis of the performance, the most efficiently scheme can be selected, then the nonlinear static and stability performance of the pretensioned single-layer LICS is systematically studied. The main work in the paper are as follows:Firstly three schemes of cable layouts on pretensioned single-layer latticed intersected cylindrical shell(LICS) are put forward in the paper, the static and stability property of the single-layer LICS in those three schemes of cable layouts is studied with parameters analyses to prefer the best one for reticulated structure.The mechanical characteristics of pretensioned single-layer LICS is discussed, by combining the affected parameters of normal single-layer LICS, the static property of single-layer LICS in best schemes is considered, including the effect of raise-span ratio, the length of strut, stiffness ratio, prestress, and some conclusion is obtained.The nonlinear buckling mode of the pretensioned single-layer LICS is compared with that of the corresponding reticulated single-layer LICS. Then nonlinear stability property of the pretensioned single-layer LICS is studied with parameters analyses, and on the basis of further study the effects of uneven distribution of loads and initial geometric imperfection on stability property of shell are discussed. At last, on the base of considering the geometric nonlinearity of the reticulated shells, further considering material nonlinearity factor, a series of double nonlinear analysis of the stability property of structure is carried out, the Plastic reduction factor that suitable for pretensioned single-layer LICS is obtained which based on the results of analysis and probabilistic method, it can provide theoretical basis and reference for practical engineering application of such structure.The influence of the change of support displacement and stiffness to the static property of pretensioned single-layer LICS is studied, the stability bearing capacity and the loading-displacement of structure is discussed considering the factor of direction of support displacement, location of support displacement, stiffness values of support, and engineering reference opinions are put forward.
