| As the development of large span steel structure, large-span spatial steel tubetruss structure is becoming a popular form used for industrial buildings, stadiums,transportation buildings, exhibition buildings and commercial buildings because of itsadvantages. However, compared to other forms of large span steel structure, there arestill a lot of problems to be solved for its lack of research production.In this paper, two mainly aspects of the problems were researched. One aspectwas the research of the ultimate bearing capacity of a special tubular joint by means offinite element method and test method. As the results showed that this special tubularjoint could meet the requirement of the specifications and the two methods’ resultswere in good agreement. The other aspect was the research of the integral stability ofrectangular spatial steel tube truss structure models with different parameters. Theresults showed that as the span-width ratio and the height-width ratio increased, theintegral stability coefficient decreased. The general FEM software ABAQUS wasutilized for all the finite element analysis. |
