Because of the distinctive modeling, towers linked with connective structure hasbrought us a strong visual impact, and it also gets the favour of architects in recentyears.However, this shape brings great challenges for structure seismic, so it becomesthe key research in recent years, and the research is also more and more deeply. Inorder to understand the seismic performance of different structure layout towerslinked with connective structure, four different layout of the actual building areanalysised in this paper, that are symmetric structure, asymmetric structure,"Z" shapestructure and arc structure. Some design parameters are changed, and some universallaw can be got on the influence of this parameters. At the same time, to understand theworking condition of building with different layout under the earthquake,elastic-plastic time history analysis is used.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Symmetry structure exist symmetryvibration mode and antisymmetry vibration mode. The participate quality ofsymmetry vibration mode is zero, and the amplitude of antisymmetry mode is same.So, the stress of connective structure is small.For the building with upper and lowerconnective structure, the middle of th building without connective structure should bestrengthen.(2) The asymmetric continuum structure has complex vibration modes,and the translation-torsion coupling is serious. So, it need more vibration modes toensure the accurate. Reasonable layout of structure can reduce the response ofearthquake. For this building, rigidity of connective structure has no obvious impacton seismic performance, but big stiffness can increase the internal force ofcomponents next to the connective structure.(3) For the "Z" shape structure, moretower alone vibration modes appear,and the stress of connective structure is very big.The lead rubber bearing can improve the condition, but the stress increase at thebottom floors of tower, and the lead rubber bearing displacement should be limited.(4)For arc structure, with the decrease of the arc radius structure torsional ability isreduced, and floor shear and displacement ratio can not come to a unity law at the Xand Y directions.
