Minisatellite has the widely uses and developments for its miniature in both massand volume,low-cost, short research period and the new technologies. The ElectricalPower Supply Subsystem (EPSS) is one of the key subsystems of satellite. And itcombines by Solar Array, storage batteries, Power Conditioning Unit(PCU) andPower Distribution Unit(PDU) etc. The EPSS generates electricity power and supplyand switch power for the onboard equipments. It’s main function and task are asfollowing. It provides a regulated bus to equipments on board during all the tests onground. And during orbiting flight, SA generates electricity power, supplies for theonboard equipments and charges the battery in sunlight; battery releases electricitypower and supplies for the onboard equipments in umbra. It is main for conditioning, distribution and converting power of the primary power. And supplies Interface withTeleMetry(TM) and TeleCommmond(TC). This paper describes characteristics and dosome researches and presents some developments in domestic and overseas for theEPSS in Nanosatellite at present. It proposes a typical power system topology and dosome safety and reliability analysis with the unique project requirements. In addition, have a elaboration of the key technologies in the EPSS of Nanosatellite, and analysisand summary of the parameters and performances on orbits which already used thetypology in the products.
