The Aerospace fastener automatic spraying machine as a specific application in thefield of aerospace fastener plays an important role in the production process ofaerospace fasteners. Compared with ordinary fasteners, the fasteners applied to the fieldof aerospace field usually need to carry out surface treatment. And spraying technologyis one of the important methods. The requirements on fasteners’ coating thickness andits uniformity of spray surface treatment technology of Aerospace fasteners are verystrict.Traditional manual spraying method in terms of quality stability, work efficiencyhas become increasingly unable to meet the requirements of product quality and yield.In addition, with the development of manufacturing industry information, it is necessaryto use a computer to replace artificial to keep a record of real-time product informationin order to facilitate the product information query and traceability. Therefore, it hasvery important significance to develop automatic spraying equipment that suit in thefield of production of aerospace fasteners.An automatic spraying machine based the control mode of upper and lowercomputer is designed on the basis of the requirements of surface spray treatment processof aerospace fasteners. The upper computer adopts industrial control computer to recordthe various products production and process information. The lower computer uses PLCas controller, servo driver and servo motor as the main drive unit to achieve the sprayingsystem moving to adjust the position and velocity of the moving parts, the pressure ofthe gun is adjusted by analog proportional control. Between upper computer and lowercomputer adopts industrial Ethernet for data communication. On this basis, the paperexpounds the design basis, process and contents of the hardware part of automaticspraying machine. The main circuit and electrical schematic diagram of control systemis designed.The paper introduces the software design of the control system of the aerospacefastener automatic spraying machine, including the design of PLC program, the designof touch screen program. The procedure flow and interface of the software are designedbased on the analysis of the specific software features and requirements.Paper in view of the control system of data communication between upper machineand lower machine, analyses and implements the communication mode of the controlsystem, and design the monitoring and management program of the upper computer. Firstly, paper introduces the FINS protocol that the control system use on the basis ofintroducing industrial Ethernet. Secondly, paper analyzes and classifies thecommunication data that the control system need, and analyses communication functionof the control systems require. Finally, use VC++as the programming language toimplement the communication protocol and the monitoring and management programof the upper computer.Finally, paper makes research on the spray coating process of the aerospacefasteners and uses the Matlab to analysis and simulate the distribution of coatingthickness of bolt, providing theoretical guidance for debugging of spraying process andproduce of the automatic spraying machine.
