Teahouse Design Study Based On Regional Culture

People are paying increasing attention on the spiritual and cultural life than before, since their physical life quality is getting better and they are experiencing more and more stress from the heavy work and study in the modern life. Due to these facts, teahouses stand out and become popular from a variety of recreational places by their cultural connotation and functions. The interior design of teahouses, however, has not reached the increasing spiritual requirement of each individual. As a result of globalization, many interior designs of teahouses have followed a similar trend, by which they lost their national and regional traits. Therefore, this paper is intended to integrate traditional and regional cultures into the interior design of the modern teahouses, and to enhance people’s awareness and consciousness toward the importance and the need of protection of the national culture, the regional culture as well as the teahouse culture. This study is also devoted to find a new direction, which can exhibit our own national traits and regional cultures, for the Chinese interior design in the background of globalization.Full-text consists of six chapters, divided into four parts. The first chapter for the first part of this article, mainly elaborated this topic research background, significance, the main content of the paper and the research status of both at home and abroad. For chapter2and3in the second part, through to read lots of books, newspapers and other materials, as well as personal tea house of Suzhou site visiting and inspection, the first teahouse concept and development history is summarized, clarify the teahouse and transformation process in the historical development vein and the situation of Suzhou modern teahouse did the analysis of the system, and then from the formation of the regional cultural factors and relevant concepts lead to Suzhou regional culture in natural conditions, the urban landscape, the cultural features of traditional folk and traditional thoughts, etc. Chapter iv for the third part of the article, mainly about the design of teahouse according to the theory of regional culture in design of teahouse is proposed using the principle and use method, and by combining the domestic form of the outstanding teahouse design case in detail. So that the design principles and methods of the research summary of more practical significance. Article fourth part is the fifth chapter, mainly through three cases of Suzhou the teahouse space design are analyzed, summarized the application of Suzhou regional culture in the teahouse in the design of the specific principles and methods, for the application of regional culture in the teahouse design provides a more practical theory basis. Then the author according to the above design principles and methods of the study design a set of tea house interior design scheme based on suzhou regional culture, and carries on the detailed elaboration. Finally is the full text of the summary and induction, and proposed the research process of refers to the place, teahouse design of regional culture is better in the future research pointed out the direction.
