The Research On Try Burn Of Mixing Combustion Of Biomass In Coal-fired Boiler Of Jin Lin Province

Biomass energy is an ideal renewable energy as it is inexhaustible and environment-friendly. Therefore, research on the application of biomass energy is of great significance. Current research on biomass energy application focuses on the combustion of straw in a boiler, which is performed mainly in two ways:one is to build a new biomass direct-fired boiler for direct combustion of straw; the other is to mix the coal and straw at certain ratio in the furnace for combustion. Combusting straw in a boiler can improve combustion rate and reduce emissions of pollutant. The application of biomass energy is a new industry which is technically and economically immature, thus requiring great efforts for its research.This subject is conducted under the background of Jilin Province’s encouragement on the research of biomass energy application. With the64MW coal-fired boiler as the object, this study carries out mix combustion experiment after installing related equipment to the original boiler, and analyzes its technology and economy. Major aspects in the study include:1. Defining mix combustion as the main orientation of research on biomass energy application by analyzing the pros and cons of direct combustion and mix combustion of biomass energy.2. Obtaining tendency parameter of deposit scorification with different straw content and finding optimum fuel proportion through analyzing deposit scorification of fuel mixture in experiment.3. Selecting grate firing+suspension firing to combust blended fuel; using FLUENT software to simulate, at different wind speed and locations for inlet air, changes of the cold flow field in the furnace without feeding; instructing the installation of relevant equipment according to the simulated result of the flow field.4. Conducting pilot run of the mix combustion boiler after installing related equipment. Get the operating parameter of the boiler during its running, find out problems in the process and put forward solutions, and analyze to what extent it is economic, energy-saving and environmental.
