In recent years, indoor air pollution badly affects people’s health and quality of life, so indoor environment pollution problem has already caused people’s extensive concerns. Internationally, indoor air quality (IAQ) has become one of the important research subjects. As a main source of pollution of residential indoor environment, kitchen and bathroom’s irrational airflow organization is one of the important reasons that lead to the air quality becoming more and more worse.The smoke lampblack machines that being used widely are defective, which inevitably cause lampblack pollutants such as the phenomenon of the spill, thus they seriously pollute indoor air and environmental health. Especially when the windows and doors are closed, natural ventilation must be limited.Only depending on mechanical exhaust ventilation can not meet people’s requirements for new wind. So a reasonable and complete airflow organization form is indispensable for better indoor air quality.In this paper, by comprehensive analysis and comparison of the four research methods of indoor air organization, choose to use FLUENT software of CFD numerical simulation technology to make a simulation study of residential indoor airflow organization.Because of indoor air flow being turbulent, choose standard k-s turbulent model. Use hybird mesh division and controlling the finite volume method to discretize the computational domain and dissociate off with the SIMPL algorithm. In this paper, the CFD-6.2simulation software is used to analyze residential kitchen and sets of rooms’flow organization form after adding outlets to hearth(below the smoke lampblack machine) and indoor air pollution and the energy consumption of HVAC systems issues that the traditional residential kitchen hood system exists to be..Besides, it also analyzes the kitchen indoor airflow velocity distribution, pressure distribution, the temperature distribution and concentration distribution under different working conditions. The purpose of the above Analysis is to search for a reasonable residential indoor air forms of organization, balance indoor air, and eliminate the drawbacks of traditional systems. The following aspects are included in this stimulation.(1) First of all, make a stimulation study of the kitchen’s flow distribution in case of wind and without wind..(2) Stimulate kitchen airflow distribution condition from different form and different area and determine which way is the best.(3) Stimulate and analyze kitchen and Sets of rooms’flow organization form after adding outlets in case of different exhaust volume.The simulation study found that additional make-up air can not only solve residential indoor air pollution problems from kitchen pollutants, but also add some fresh outdoor air to indoor and improve indoor air quality. In addition, the added fresh air provides oxygen with the combustion of stove fuel and plays a role in combustion, reduce harmful gases because of incomplete combustion and reach the desired effect of control of indoor pollutants. The way of mechanical ventilation adding make-up air provides a reasonable and environmentally friendly alternative energy solutions for residential kitchen ventilation design. The quantitative conclusions of the numerical simulation supply a theoretical basis with the design of the smoke lampblack machine.
