Line contact friction pair is widely applied in engineering practice because of its high accuracy. But its contact area is small, contact stress is large, so it is easy to be wear and tear. Research scholars at home and abroad pay a lot of attention in improving its lubrication and reducing the friction. The purpose of this thesis is to study the effect of surface microstructure characteristics on the frictional characteristics of friction pair under line contact elasto-hydrodynamic and different sliding-rolling ratio condition and explore the relationship between characterization parameters of3D surface morphology and frictional property. Laser marker YLP-F10is used to texture the circumference surface of the specimens with the help of the special rotary worktable E-RSC100to get two sets of specimens. The depth of the pit of the two groups of specimens are4μm and9μm, respectively. Micro texturing shapes of each set of specimens includes circular、arrow and rectangular. And each set has two arrow and two rectangular micro texturing specimens. The difference between the specimens with same texturing shape is the direction of the texturing, other parameters of size are the same. Making each set of the textured surfaces has the same surface arithmetic average height Sa through controlling the space of the micro texturing. Then all the textured surfaces are measured by non-contact3D optical profiler Talysurf CCl Lite and characterized by ISO251783D characterization parameters and connectivity coefficient Us. Using steel and tin bronze as matching material, a series of rich oil frictional experiments are conducted on a self-modified JPM-1two-disc tribo-tester, through changing rotating speed, load and sliding-rolling ratio, obtaining friction coefficient under a series of different working conditions. The results show:for the surfaces that have the same Sa, the surface microstructure has an important effect on friction. Textured specimens also have obvious different friction characteristics when matching with different material. When using steel as matching material, forward arrow texturing shows the best frictional performance, and the effect of the surface microstructure on friction is more significant than when pairing up with tin bronze; the optimal microstructure shape is also different when matching with different material. Under different working conditions, surface micro texturing has different effects on friction. Amplitude parameters (Ssk、Sku)、functional parameters(Vvv、Vvc、Sxp)、 feature parameters(Spd、Sdv/Sda)、connectivity coefficient Us of the3D surface morphology have certain relevance with frictional property.
