The brake test bench is the device for testing the brake’s quality and evaluating it’ s function. Mechanical inertia flywheel groups are used to simulate vehicle inertia in the traditional brake test bench. Considering faults of the traditional brake test bench, inertia electric simulation technology is proposed. Namely:some mechanical inertia is instead by the control of motor system in order to make the braking effect be same as the original system.The mixed inertia simulation of the brake test bench system is researched and the following work has been completed:First of all, the principle of the brake test bench is described and the brake test of non-constant torque is focused on. The speed and torque control method for electric inertia system is analyzed deeply, and the structural model of control system is given. Secondly, the speed control system of DC motor is studied. Two control strategies model for the electric inertia system in Simulink are established and the simulation program is presented. The evaluation methods for the different control strategies are discussed and the simulation results are analyzed. Thirdly, the control of single neuron PID is analyzed, and the single neuron technology is taken to the DC motor speed control system. The model of single neuron-electrical inertia simulation system is founded and simulated. Finally, the selection of the DC motor and the design of flywheel group are discussed, and the design of the control system for the upper and lower computer is provided.
