Engine mount components is widely used in automobile vibration isolators, and it’s dynamic and static characteristic decides vibration isolator’s performance and has negative influence on automobile’s NVH performance. The purpose of this paper is to study the dynamic and static characteristic of engine mount components.Firstly, the writer summarizes some features of the rubber materials, gets their stress-strain relationship through material testing machine, and uses the least square method to fit constitutive model; By analyzing and comparing different super elastic models and the accuracy of tested data, the writer then selects the appropriate simulation model.Secondly, the writer calculates the static characteristic of engine mount components using elastic finite element model, studies the isolating theory and feature requirement of rubber material. Taking an engine mount components for example, the writer gets it’s force-displacement relationship, calculates the static stiffness of the mount components, analyzes static characteristic of the mount components, and conducts topological optimization.Thirdly, the writer calculates the dynamic characteristic of engine mount components using super elastic-viscoelastic finite element model superposition method; By applying certain preload on the mount and then a sinusoidal displacement excitation, the writer gets force-displacement relationship curve by calculating reaction force of reference point, dynamic stiffness and damping angle through data processing, and analyze frequency and amplitude correlation relevance with rubber materials.Finally, the writer optimizes the engine mount components by using orthogonal optimization, finds out the most important factor affecting the vibration isolation performance and a better solution, and calculates the vibration isolation performance of the better solution.Engine mount components is one of the most important parts of automobile vibration isolation system, and it is practical to study it’s static and dynamic characteristic have a better understanding of the vibration isolation system.
