In recent years, fires in the campus cannot be ignored as the density of university students’ population increases and the campus fires occurred frequently. It is very important to study laws of campus fires, find the key areas of campus fires, give corresponding countermeasures, perfect administration and ensure the safety of teachers’ and students’ life and property.In this paper, based on fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making, fire safety assessment is made which is for fire protection facilities, safety management, evacuation facilities, fire prevention and evacuate as evaluation factors. Then Get campus fire key areas, and choose a building in this area for the following research. Fire simulation software FDS is used to model and analyze the selected building under fire load, fire heat release rate, temperature, visibility, toxic gas concentration, etc. Based on the software Building Exodus, analyze chemical disaster evacuation under fire, set parameters such as age, speed, reaction time and fire scenario, study the influence of peak and off-peak evacuation numbers, exit, etc for evacuation, get the total evacuation time. According to research the results of campus building safety assessment, fire simulation and evacuation, a system is built, and safety evacuation judgement, analysis and suggestions for a building are given.
