Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis (EDXRF), compared with other elemental analysis, with fast, multi-element, no damage to the sample, etc..widely used in geological samples, indoor radionuclide detection, analysis of radioactive materials and other aspects. Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis, theAbsorption and Enhancement effect in a great influence on the measurement accuracy.in conventional X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, using experimental methods or mathematical correctionAbsorption and Enhancement effect correction. In the actual work, facing theheavy workload,limitofdetection and other restrictions.In this paper, Monte Carlo method was used in simulation of energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis.Mainly,Absorption and enhancement effects of X-ray fluorescence analysis are simulated.the method that using experimental data to strike Gaussian broadening coefficient of MCNP5of Monte Carlo procedure. Absorption and Enhancement effects of binary alloys(Fe-Cr, Fe-Mn,Cu-Zn) were simulated with MCNP5.compiled a MFC procedure that auto striking GEB coefficient based on visual studio2010platform.This thesis of subject stems from "863" plan project "high-precision energy spectrometer development"(project number:2012AA061803).the achieved of this paper is that:(A) Based on the working principle the of energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis,established simulation model of MCNP5of Monte Carlo simulation software with specific physical parameters of IED-2000T multi-element X-ray fluorescence analyzer.(B) In the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis instrument spectrum, fluorescence counts follow a Gaussian distribution.Using the standard deviation of Gaussian distribution strike FWHM of energy dispersive IED-2000T handheld rapid multi-element X-ray fluorescence analyzer。using the above data to strike coefficients of GEB Gaussian broadening coefficients card coefficients, simulation the X-ray fluorescence of Fe, Cu, Cr.the analog spectrum and measured spectrum for comparison, to obtain a simulated spectrum and the measured spectrum is almost identical verified in the simulation using energy dispersive MCNP5X-ray fluorescence analysis, spectral instruments in the standard deviation of the Gaussian distribution Gaussian broadening coefficients strike GEB feasibility.(C) For common binary samples Fe-Cr, Fe-Mn,Cu-Zn,alloy, carried out at Monte Carlo calculations in case of different levels.the characteristic peaks of the element content and the relative intensity of the curve. Samples obtained that binary samples Absorption and Enhancement effects consistent with the theoretical situation. Verify the Monte Carlo method for simulating Absorption and Enhancement effects of X-ray fluorescence feasibility, and subsequent X-ray fluorescence analysis standardless analysis has guiding significance.(D) Based on visual studio2010platform,Compiled MFC program that striking coefficients of GEB card.Importing instrument data, automatically strike coefficient. Greatly reducing the calculation and procedure at striking coefficient of GEB of MCNP5.
