Optimization Analysis Of Third-party Logistics Service Providers For Vehicle Manufactures

In recent years, with the rapid development of the vehicle manufacturing industry in china, the domestic vehicle manufacturers in the process of intense competition in international auto giant also continue to learn from their advanced concept. The face of such fierce competition, the domestic enterprises in order to maintain their core competitiveness, have chosen to outsource the logistics of this non-core business. In the process of cooperation, due to differences in business philosophy, vehicle manufacturers is likely to conflict with the cooperation of third-party logistics service providers, ultimately lead to the failure of logistics outsourcing. The correct choice of a third-party logistics service provider for the enterprise has become the current problems to be solved by vehicle manufacturers.In order to solve the issues raised above, this article first analyzes the existing third-party logistics service provider evaluation index system, constructed a third-party logistics service provider evaluation system for vehicle manufacturers. Second, by studying the previous third-party logistics selection process, combined with the characteristics of the vehicle manufacturers to design a more targeted third-party logistics service provider selection process. Contrast advantages and disadvantages of the existing vehicle manufacturing enterprise logistics service providers selection method, AHP-TOPSIS method is proposed to select third-party logistics service providers. Finally, by the case of a domestic vehicle manufacturers select third-party logistics service providers to prove the effectiveness of the AHP-TOPSIS method.Through the study reached the following conclusions:(1) Due to the intensification of competitive pressures, China’s vehicle manufacturers are now recognize the importance of logistics outsourcing, but the results are essentially different, the main reason is the company not according to their actual situation to choose the service providers.(2) The construction of vehicle manufacturers select a third-party logistics service provider evaluation index system is a dynamic process. We should be combined with the actual situation in the choice of logistics service providers and make the necessary changes and improve the index system, the design of this index system is only as the reference.(3) After this study, AHP-TOPSIS method is indeed effective method for vehicle manufacturers to select logistics service providers, vehicle manufacturers can refer to when needed.
