With the rapid development of offshore platforms, the inspection of offshore pressure vessels and pressure pipeline has become more and more important in the daily management of the platform, while the traditional inspection based schedule and condition cannot meet the inspection needs of the pressure vessel and pressure pipeline with increasing scale. Since traditional inspection methods are not only inefficient, but also can not reduce the level of risk, which affected the economic benefits of the platform to a certain extent. So the study on the RBI management system of pressure vessels and pressure pipeline on sea has an important practical value.This paper combines the management system of pressure vessel and pressure pipeline and the RBI inspection technology together, and mixes the corrosion online monitoring module and task optimization management module to integrate an intelligent risk based inspection management system. And the paper studies it mainly from the following aspects:(1) The paper studies the marine corrosion mechanism of pressure vessel and pressure pipeline, the corrosion protection technology, the corrosion rate prediction method, the failure probability and the determination method of failure probability ranks, the failure damage consequences and the discriminate matrix method for determining the risk, the methods to determine risk rating mechanism and so on. The paper also established the knowledge base system with the above mechanism and methods. (2)The paper develops the system framework on the base of database technology, computer network communication technology and module integration technology, and integrates the inspection data for risk assessment and knowledge base module. Also the paper develops a man-machine interaction interface with the standardized data, and makes a comprehensive analysis and forecast for the real-time dynamic data of the pressure vessel and pressure pipeline corrosion rate and the inspection/repair history data. And it improves the level of assessment for inspection and safety of the pressure vessel and pipeline and promotes the improvement of the inspection technology.(3)The paper also analyzes the application of the risk based inspection system by a hydrogenation device of CNOOC platform, which verifies that the system is effective, reliable and available.
