Global warming has become the21st century human development met one of the biggest problems, low carbon community, low carbon city has become the common goal of global urbanization, our country is in the rapid development period of urbanization, China’s CO2emissions in2007has become the world’s first, reduce carbon emissions as world powers ought to shoulder responsibility. Low carbon community space form construction, not only to the development of China’s urbanization level, will be the world low carbon mode of city development set an example, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions curb global warming to contribute.Research shows that land use layout, the three dimensional space form and land development strength and carbon emissions obvious constraints. At the same time, walkable traffic development mode to reduce carbon emissions will also have an important influence. Finally, shape good landscape layout mode, to a certain extent, improve the landscape system of carbon exchange function, create the environment friendly ecological environment, to the construction of the low carbon community also play an important role. So from the view of urban design to explore "low carbon community" theory and method is necessary.In this paper liao bin new city er jie gou community as the research object, in the system summary kingdom, and internal and external low carbon theory and practice on the basis of experience, put forward in order to reduce carbon emissions as the goal of community space constructing model, and for the whole city liao shore of low carbon city development design strategy is put forward.The paper first from low carbon theory, then the system introduces the domestic and foreign "low carbon city" planning and research progress; Briefly retrospected and low carbon concept related theory, this paper analyses the low carbon community connotation and characteristic; Discusses the low carbon community design basic direction and design principles, and puts forward the research methods and research frame, draw the following conclusion:Firstly, in view of the liao bin new city er jie gou community of actual situation proposed mixed land use mode, and the introduction of new urbanism compact layout neighborhood center layout unit model, conceived to neighborhood center is the core of the community is the basic unit, and optimize the land development intensity index, guarantee the development of land use efficiency, compact. Second, to promote the motor vehicle and the walking as the guidance, the er jie gou community network optimization design, established the high density, small scale blocks layout; Make full use of er jie gou local characteristic of dense water network, so as to develop water traffic; To accessibility as one of the bases, and through the public transportation sites setting and bicycle lane optimization, this paper puts forward the concept of low carbon highlight land transportation.Thirdly, landscape system has the function of carbon, this paper first summarizes carbon system elements, and combined with t er jie gou community specific conditions, from carbon plaque, carbon corridor distribution and shaping methods on its space layout optimization.This paper hope that through the er jie gou community low carbon space construction, explore a kind of low energy consumption, low carbon emissions, sustainable development of community development model, promote the liao bin new city in low carbon energy consumption in construction and development.
