Cabin is the loading and metrolo gy too l of internationa l trade ofpetrochemical products. Metering accuracy of cab in capacity is re lated tonationa l interests and security. It is o f high practical applicatio n va lue for theresearch on cabin capacity measure ment technolo gy. Based on the method ofequal-graded accuracy transfer for flow d isseminatio n of va lue quantity, arapid measure ment syste m a iming at irregular cabin capacity for less than50m3is designed in this paper. The designed system rea lized the rapid a ndaccurate measureme nt of s ma ll irregular cabin capacity.The present research status at home and abroad of measure ment methodson cabin capacity a nd the e xisting proble ms are ana lyzed, and pointed outthat shortage o f curre nt methods invo lving the limited applicatio n scale, thelong time measure me nt, and the low work effic ienc y, etc. in this thes is. Arapid meas ureme nt s yste m in view o f s ma ll irre gular cab in capacity isdesigned based on value disse mination with fixed point applicatio n forstandard meter. The ma in research and achieve ments are as follows:1. A research of the feasib ility in capacity measure me nt with f lowmeterand leve l ga uge was discussed according to the characteristics of sma llirre gular cab in a nd advanta ges and d isadvanta ges of c urrent me asure mentmethod.2. A rapid measure me nt syste m with flowmeter and leve l gauge wasdesigned on the basis of equa l-graded accuracy transfer method. It ensuredmeasure me nt accuracy, improved work effic iency and overc ame the shortageand inco nve nience of traditio na l work method in transportation and fie ldapplication by fixed flow point adhib ition o f standard meter.3. A measureme nt program was writte n based on LabVIEW due topractical require ments. It invo lved continuo us and step water injection thattwo operation modes. The continuous one matc h the fast measure ment require me nt and the step one meet the demand of high accuracy test.4. Experime nts were comp leted with d ifferent flowmeters for capacitymeasure me nt. The results meet the technica l indexes of measure mentuncerta inty within1%and measure ment time less than2h.
