| In recent years, the velocity of urbanization rate is very quickly in our country, theconstruction of highway transportation infrastructure has had great success. Highway tunnelhas a lot of advantages, such as reducing travel time and driving mileage and improvingdriving speed etc and the scale is expanding rapid. At present, the operating speed and trafficdensity are promoting continuously, but at present the safety problem of highway tunnel inour country is still worrying and we are lack of a complete set of traffic safety evaluationsystem of highway sections.This paper is based on the project†Construction drawing design safety evaluation ofnational highway tunnel group’s traffic safety of Shaxi to Yuehuan loop section in ZhongshanCity Guangdong Provinceâ€. Combined with large amount of work the author does in graduateschool and the domestic and foreign advanced research achievements, this paper carries onthe comprehensive traffic safety analysis to highway tunnel group with large traffic from threeaspects: the tunnel design, communication, transportation engineering and facilities along theway.As the foundation to actual situation of the project, this paper evaluates five aspects inthe tunnel design include tunnel hole for wiring, transverse section, stadia, the road anddrainage facilities, mechanical and electrical facilities. This paper also evaluates thecommunication interchange include position and form, spacing, main line speed coordination,ramp speed coordination and linear, entrances of the ramp, stadia and ramp speed limitscheme, for detailed research. At last, this paper evaluates the traffic engineering and facilitiesalong the way, include safety facilities, charge station, the central space with the dazzlefacilities, charges, communication, monitoring and power supply system, to rationality. Thoseevaluations proved that the safety research mentioned in this paper is operational and feasible,and it is a complete evaluation system.Because of the civil engineering has been started when this study begins, therefore thisresearch mainly starts with the review on the rationality of the design, emphatically from the point of the improvement of traffic engineering measures. The safety research mentioned inthis paper is suitable in highway tunnel groups with large number of cars and it can makescontribution to improving tunnel safety and to lower the accident rate in tunnels of this kind,provides evaluation standard for future tunnel construction and alterations to provide somehelp, in order to provide decision-makers from the construction and reconstruction in thetunnel of this kind. |
