The21stcentury is the era of rapid development of information technology.Switching power supply chips are widely used in many fields. Switching power supplymarket which based on power semiconductor devices has injected vitality in the rapiddevelopment of electronic information industry. The switching power supply has anunparalleled advantage of linear power, and which is referred to as green power. As abig developing country, energy conservation and emission reduction as the target of thegovernment’s grasping, so the performance of the switching power supply with highrequirements. Switching power supply chip has become a hot spot and focus in thedomestic microelectronics research, and it in China will usher in a better and fasterdevelopment opportunity.In this paper, I have a careful study on Boost-type DC-DC converter workingprinciple and control mode, which providing theoretical guidance for the design andanalysis of the circuit. According to the function of the chip index requirements and thetheory of switching power supply, I design a fixed clock frequency, peak current modePWM modulation type Boost DC-DC converter chip. Then by binding bicycle roadstability of the whole circuit of the system, I study and analyze the solution. In thecircuit design chapter, the paper analyzed current sampling circuit used to design ahigh-performance current detection circuit, and by combining slope compensationcircuit to complete the current sampling process. Miller compensation, resulting in a lefthalf-plane zero voltage loop pole system to compensate for the error amplifier. Inaddition, the circuit internal integrated precision band gap reference, over temperatureprotection circuit, under voltage lockout circuit to ensure system security and stabilitywork.Circuit structures are built in0.35um40V BCD process. The simulation of circuitand layout are completed by cadence software. In the design of the current detectioncircuit, the current of the power transistor which is turned on is proportional to thedetected current. And the current detection accuracy is high. Various process corners ofthe oscillator circuit simulation data collection is done by OCEAN programming. The chip in the input voltage in the range of2.5V~6V,12V output voltage and200mA loadcurrent, the conversion efficiency of up to89%. It also has small output voltage ripples,small size, low power consumption and better linear regulation.
