The Exploration To Wuhan East Lake National Wetland Park Landscape Construction Based On Ecological Protection

Wetland is a natural transitional area between land and water, it’s also an important part of the natural environment with unique functions and values. In the urban areas, the wetland plays an important role in protecting the biodiversity, optimizing the landscape pattern greatly, and regulating the floodwater. The natural wetland ecosystem has social values, it could help people to get peace of mind, and satisfy the need of ecological education and scientific research. The wetlands are widely distributed. Because the process of city is more and more quickly, the impact of human activities on the wetland area is more serious, the protection of wetland in Wuhan is imminent. Wuhan has constructed many wetland park for protection and utilization of the wetland in the city, so that the various functions of wetland into full pay.Taking East Lake National Wetland Park for instance, the present study, based on related theories of ecological protection, tried to explore the methods on landscape construction of wetland park. The study mainly analyzed such aspects as follows:Firstly, aiming at ecological protection, the study defined the related concepts, identified the targets and principles of the wetland park construction, analyzed the construction process to provide reference information for the research on landscape construction of East Lake National Wetland Park.Secondly, the study analyzed the present situation of East Lake National Wetland Park from such aspects as location, natural resources, land use types etc. Analyzed the relationship between East Lake National Wetland Park and Wuhan, East Lake Scenic Area, and analyzed the scenery of East Lake National Wetland Park landscape construction from the plant, water, road, terrain, buildings and facilities. On this basis, combined with ecological protection theory, summarizes the method of East Lake National Wetland Park landscape construction, including ecological construction of the lakeside zone, the plant selection and configuration, the lake water environmental remediation, ecological construction, etc.Finally, according to the existing problems in the process of construction, the study explored the landscape construction models of wetland park based on ecological protection, and provided suggestions for the further healthy development.
