The solar cell industry develop rapidly in recent years. The crystalline silicon cellshave been used widely in the various types of solar cells because of the higherconversion efficiency and the mature technology. But the solar panels will be cracked,broken gate, debris, weld and different conversion efficiency of single cell anomalies,so it is particularly important to discover these anomalies timely.Topics integrated use of EL (electro-luminescence) technology, using infraredcamera to capture solar panels images,and displaying the collected images based onC++Builder environment.To identify problems and types of defect timely bycontrasting and analyzing the images.It can help manufactures improve productqualification rate and finished level,and optimize the corresponding process whichcause the solar panels defects timely.These can reduce the using amount of siliconmaterial.The subject focuses on the key technology research on the EL detection of solarpanels with two cameras.Connecting two industrial infrared cameras simultaneouslyto shoot a large area of solar panels by using C++Builder multi-threadingtechnology.Get the original image data fo two cameras.To study the image displayproblems which caused by optical system and camera’s image sensor optical responseof different factors.And then using image optical black level calibration and flat fieldcorrection to eliminate these impacts.To research the nonlinear distortion of the imagedue to the short-range wide-angle shot,and calculate the image distortionfactors.Then using these factors to correct the images’ nonlinear distortion.The subjectcomplete mosaic work of two images which captured by two cameras by manuallyadjusting the position parameters in the last.The final image show results shows thatthe key technical issues have been resolved in EL detection of solar modules by twocameras, and there is a good practical.
