With the excessive exploitation and use of petroleum resources,the global energy security crisis has become more and more serious.Solar photovoltaic power generation,which has the characteristics of renewable and pollution-free,has attracted the attention of people.Large photovoltaic power stations are generally built in rare places where sunlight is plentiful but also in harsh environments,where photovoltaic modules are in long-term working conditions.As a result,photovoltaic modules are prone to hot spots.The presence of hot spots will consume a large amount of energy,causing the photovoltaic component to heat up locally until the photovoltaic module is burned.At present,the detection of photovoltaic modules is still in the technical stage of manual inspection,and the detection efficiency is low,so it is urgent to design an efficient hot spot detection system.According to the above problem,this article can put forward and design a kind of system which based on rotor UAV to detect the hot spot of photovoltaic modules.The system collects the infrared images of the solar panels in the photovoltaic power station with the rotor UAV which aerial infrared thermal imager,and then detected hot spot of infrared images by using image processing software.Firstly,article introduces the prospects of the development of the photovoltaic power station,this paper expounds the research of the phenomenon of hot spot and the detection method of hot spot at home and abroad.It also introduces the application background and development trend of UAV in inspection,which illustrates the necessity and feasibility of solar panel hot spot detection system;Secondly,describes the composition of the UAV flight platform module and the debugging and testing process.In the processing of the infrared image of the photovoltaic module,in this paper,the infrared image is preprocessed by several methods,such as image geometry transformation,image de-noising,image restoration and image enhancement;Then the image Mosaic algorithm based on SIFT algorithm is used to obtain the panoramic image of the photovoltaic module.Then the image segmentation is used to separate position the hot spots from the image background.Finally,developing the software part of the system.The system of researching the defect detection of solar panels based on UAV has image acquisition and processing capacity,all of above marks the beginning of new era of high efficient intelligent inspection technology.
