The Strengthening Technique of high strength wire cable mesh and polymeric mortar which has the advantages of resistances to fire、high temperature、corrosion and aging is a kind of new type of reinforcing technology. The technology has caused the attention of engineering and been widely used in recent years, and it is gradually used in house building engineering and bridge engineering in our country. Related researches of shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams strengthened by this technology are less because of the complexity of shear resistant problem. The shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams strengthened by high strength wire cable mesh an polymeric mortar has been analyzed completely by using finite element analysis software ANSYS in this article. The concrete strength、the amount of steel strand、 the shear span ratio、the effects of reinforced length and reinforcement pattern on the shear behavior of beams are investigated. The result, which is compared with experimental result, shows that the finite element analysis result is in agreement with experimental result and the finite element analysis method is reliable. With the raise of concrete strength, the ultimate load and the deflection of strengthened members have been improved obviously. With the raise of the amount of steel strand, the ultimate load and the deflection of strengthened members have been improved, while the ductility of the members has not been improved. With the increase of the shear span ratio, the ultimate load of strengthened members has been reduced signally and the mid-span maximum deflection has been decreased. With the increase of reinforced length, the ultimate load and the deflection have both been improved. Compared with U-shaped reinforced beams, the ultimate load and deflection of ambient strengthened beams have been improved greatly, which has an important effect on the amelioration of shear behavior of reinforced concrete. The ambient strengthened method can delay the damage. The failure pattern of ambient strengthened beams is different from U-shaped reinforced beams.Based on the finite element analysis and truss theory, the calculation formula of shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams strengthened by high strength wire cable mesh and polymeric mortar is put forward in this article.
