A Study On Assessment Of The Livability Of Luoyang City

Based on the researches of the domestic and international livability theory, this paper have aresearch on the livability of five boroughs(Luolong District, Xigong District, Jianxi District, Old townDistrict, Chan River District) by the data obtained from questionnaires, and get a comprehensive evaluationof the five districts livability. The final evaluation divide the five boroughs into three categories: quitesatisfied, in general, not satisfied, and the Luolong district and the Xigong district belong to a class of quitesatisfied, Jianxi district and the old town district belong to a class of general, the Chan River District are notsatisfied. Then by comparing the specific livability indicators，we can find the main problems of the fivedistrict. The main problems of Luolong district is that infrastructure such as public transport and medicalinstitutions is not perfect, and the main problems Xigong district are traffic congestion and noise pollutionwhich are lead to too dense crowds. Jianxi district is famous nationwide for its heavy industry base, and themain problems is traffic congestion. there are a lot of problems in the old town district, such as sloweconomic development, narrow road, poorer greening, incomplete infrastructure. In Chan River district, theHui nationality constitutes the majority of the population, and the biggest feature of this area is that thecommunities are very harmonious, but the problems are similar to the old town district. Because the mainproblems of the Chan River district are less industry, slow economic development, incompleteinfrastructure, poorer greening, the first solution to the problem is to strengthen their own economicdevelopment, then drive the development of other related career.On the other hand, this paper establishes the assessment indictor system of the livable city fromthe following aspects: economy growth degree, living suitability degree, environment pleasant degree,social insurance degree, and resource carrying degree. preservation．Then this paper assesses the livabilityof18municipalities from Henan Province (including Jiyuan city) by using the method of principalcomponent analysis, finally, we can get the composite score and ranking for each city. We can find themain problems of Luoyang by comparing to other17municipalities. Eventually we put forward someproposals in five aspects to enhance Luoyang City livability,and the five aspects are developing economic,constructing infrastructure, strengthening the protection of the ecological environment, improving thesocial security system, and building a resource-saving society. This paper includes six parts, the main content as follows:The first part is introduction. This paper mainly introduce the background, significance, researchcontents and technology roadmap, and also conclude the livability literature of domestic and internationaland find the article entry point by a simple commentaryThe second part is theory and research methods about livability. This paper mainly analysestheoretical basis and introduce research methods.The third part is divisional appraisal about livability in Luoyang city. We have a overallevaluation of the five districts by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method according to the dataissued questionnaires. Then we also have a comparative analysis on the specific indicators of the fiveboroughs, and we can find main factors which effect the divisional livability and propose specificsuggestion to enhance the city livability.The fourth part is overall evaluation of Luoyang City livability. Firstly, this paper establishes theassessment indictor system of the livable city and assesses the livability of18municipalities from HenanProvince (including Jiyuan city) by using the method of principal component analysis. Secondly, we canget the score and ranking of the18cities. Lastly, we can find the main problems of Luoyang livability bythe horizontal contrast.The fifth part is the enhancing measures of Luoyang city livability. This paper put forward somerecommendations to enhance the Luoyang livability from following aspects:economy, infrastructure,ecological environment, social security, resource conservation.The last part is the conclusion．This paper makes some conclusions，points out main creativepoints and some questions required to further study．...
