The building attached underground cavern is that the superstructure is aconventional architectural structure and there are the underground caverns under thebuilding. The large number of existing buildings attached underground cavern needfor structural Security appraisal. This paper studies the structural security appraisalmethod of existing buildings attached underground cavern. The main purpose of thispaper is the analysis of the overall security and stability of the existing buildingsattached underground cavern through existing mature structural analysis softwaremodeling, fundamental to ensure the reliability of the building, so as to guarantee thesafety of the building users’ life and property.On the basis of learning the conventional structural safety identification methodand the stability of underground caverns analysis theory and finite element analysismethod, combined with an project example of the existing building attachedunderground cavern, this paper mainly carried out the work of the following aspects:(1)Elaborate theory and standard of conventional structural safety identification,analyse the thinking of the underground cavern structural safety identification, brieflythe use of JDJG software on the analysis of the structural Security;(2)Study the feasibility and modeling methods of analysing the undergroundcaverns’ force situation by ANSYS software, analyse the surrounding rock’ failurecriterion, brief the principle of the Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion, research theeffect of superstructure loads on underground cavern;(3) Combined with an project example, analyse the structural security of existingbuildings attached underground cavern;(4) Study to create three-dimensional modeling by ANSYS software, analyse thestructure stress and deformation of the underground cavern, and compared withtwo-dimensional modeling.By the above work, mainly the following conclusions:(1) Verified the feasibility of the basic thinking of the structural security appraisal method of existing buildings attached underground cavern, scilicet,identifythe structural security of upper construction and underground cavernsrespectively,then comprehensive judge the security of the overall structure based onthe identification of two parts, finally draw the conclusion.(2) for the structural security appraisal method of existing buildings attachedunderground cavern, it can identify structural safety of the upper construction usingJDJG software,and identify structural safety of the underground cavern by ANSYSsoftware modeling.(3) For constant section underground cavern, it can create two-dimensionalmodel using Plane42unit simulating of surrounding rock and Beam3unit simulatinglining structure, analyse the stress-strain and structural safety of the surrounding rockstructure and lining structure by the model;(4)It can create Three-dimensional model using Solid45unit simulating ofsurrounding rock and Shell63unit simulating lining structure, simulate thestress-strain and failure mechanism of the surrounding rock structure and liningstructure by the model accurately.
