With the rapid economic development and the improvement of people’s livingstandards, as well as the country’s policy of encouraging the purchase of cars, thenumber of people to buy vehicles inevitably increase and the static traffic problemsbecome more and more prominent, and the parking lot is very necessary. In recentyears, China has gradually established a lot of intelligent parkings and parkingmanagement systems develop towards large-scale, complexity and high-tech, but mostof them are immature and single, besides, the smart fees system, parking guide system,intelligent lighting systems are isolate in theoretical research and practice, which isthe lack of effective systems integration. Although it is possible to alleviate thedifficult problem of parking, but its function is not fully utilized. For example, userscan easily find parking spaces by displaying information in the parking lot, but theissue of lighting, security and inconvenient payment will also restrict the user and theparking’s revenue. With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,people will have more requirements of intelligent parking.This paper designed an intelligent parking management system and lightingbased on OFDM technology, mainly used in large parking lot. The system consists ofa high-performance processor, the OFDM technology modules, intelligent LED powersupply module, ultrasonic sensor and application software. Application softwareincludes road valve control, automatic car positioning technology, database and so on,and also effectively integrate with automatic identification technology, digital imageprocessing, pattern recognition technology, which can overcome shortcomingsexisting in traditional parking such as the low security, low efficiency, and waste ofresources, and make parking more intelligent, scientific, and humane. Firstly, Thepaper described the constitution and programming of the parking lot, the maintechnology has introduced in the design, such as electric power carrier communicationtechnology based on OFDM, smart parking guide technology, Automatic vehicleidentification technology, the adoption of these new technologies will effectively raisethe parking intelligent technology. Secondly, the lighting of the parking area and themain road had been simulated and programmed use the professional lighting designsoftware DIALux, to provide the basis for the design and construction of parking lotlighting and data for subsequent LED lamp power design. Thirdly, intelligent LEDpower modules had been designed, and DC/DC converter used isolated-typecounterattack had overvoltage and overcurrent protection function and PWMdimming when needed. The communication module adopted electric power carriercommunication solutions based on OFDM of MAXIM Company to solve thecommunication problem of internal parking. The test results of the power part hadbeen given in the paper. Finally, a brief introduction of car park management systemhad been made including the system composition and the main design module.
