With the rapid development of China’s economy, China’s car ownership also rose sharply, so many cities, "parking is difficult" issue has become increasingly prominent. Use of urban parking guidance system can not only improve the utilization of parking, ease of urban parking problems, but also to reduce to some extent the phenomenon of traffic congestion and reduce emissions to achieve energy saving effect. But researchers at home and abroad for the theory and practice of urban parking systems are concentrated in the area of the boot parking, parking for intelligent guide inside the few studies.Based on the theoretical study of urban parking guidance system at home and abroad as well as practical applications were analyzed, with domestic motorists travel behavior process and the corresponding demand for parking, built quickly and easily guide the driver to complete the parking behavior of underground parking spaces active guidance system. The system is based on the city parking guidance system, combined with the high-definition license plate recognition technology and appropriate hardware to achieve recognition of the vehicle license plate. At the same time on the basis of the principle of lockers, combining ant colony algorithm, only a single factor in considering the case of the shortest path to achieve the optimal selection algorithm to optimize parking. Finally, through the implementation of hardware and software, completed the underground parking spaces initiative to guide the development of the system.
