Strop ropeway is a more ancient means of transport. With the continuous development of technology and tourism, strop ropeway has become a popular entertainment. Because of different types of strop ropeway in structure, efficiency and investment, during the construction of the strop ropeway, it is based on different conditions to choose the right type of strop ropeway. As a kind of people’s entertainment project, its security is very important, so each part of strop ropeway should be strictly abide by the relevant regulations and standards.In the design of strop ropeway, sliding speed is the crucial factor. If the speed was too large, passengers would be injured and fear, while passengers might not be able to smoothly reach the finish line when sliding speed was too small. During the movement process of strop ropeway, it is more external random factors that affecting glide speed, especially the obvious role of wind load. Plenty of strop ropeway accident was the result of wind load effects in recent years.This paper analyze strop ropeway based on parabola theory, curve theory and catenary theory. And set up equation under the condition of load.This indicates the influence on the operation of the strop ropeway under the action of wind, and establishes a curve equation of strop ropeway with wind load in accordance with three kinds of basic theory. It makes a dynamic analysis on bi-cable a strop tackle under the action of wind load, determines the acceleration of the tackle under wind load, and analyzes the whole course of the bi-cable strop ropeway as well as the influence of the wind load on the running speed and result of the strop tackle under the wind, and summarizes the calculation method for the speed of bi-cable strop tackles under different conditions and finally tested and verified it through illustration.
