Hydraulic excavator rotary transmission mechanism is the one of the key components in a hydraulic excavator swing operation. It comes with lots of vibration in the working process. And such vibrations will seriously affect the safe and reliable operation of the hydraulic excavator. Therefore, to study the hydraulic excavator vibration and reliability of the rotary transmission mechanism has great significance to improve the excavator’s reliability and safety. Thus, this thesis will study about the vibration reliability in hydraulic excavator rotary transmission mechanism. The main contents include:Calculating the equivalent moment of inertia of working device with triangular modules and cylinder modules that about arbitrary axis rotation inertia calculation methods. Then we get the intrinsic relationship between working device location parameters and its equivalent moment of inertia. It is also the theoretical basis to research how the equivalent moment of inertia of working device influencing the rotary transmission mechanism vibration characteristics.In the case of gear mesh stiffness is changed with time, establishing rotary transmission mechanism kinetic equation with the finite element method. Then treat the rotary transmission mechanism of self-excited inertial force as impact. Study the vibration characteristics with the method of multiple scales when rotation system is in three working state including starting, regular working and braking. This will lay the foundation for the reliability study of the vibration of the rotary drive mechanism.With fuzzy theory, setting up rotary transmission mechanism elated multi-failure mode vibration reliability model. First of all, set the absolute value of the difference between the natural frequency and the excitation frequency in a specific value as the relationship criterion, define vibration question reliability model of rotary transmission mechanism. Establishing rotary transmission mechanism related multi-failure random reliability model. Secondly, for the fuzzy of relationship criterion, we should build rotary transmission mechanism related multi-failure mode vibration reliability model with the application of multi-failure mode random reliability model based on fuzzy theory.Simulate and analyze the established the reliability of the model using MATLAB software. Compare the reliability of the simulation results with the results of Monte Carlo reliability method. It will prove the theoretical analysis.
