In today’s society, the contradiction that urban land can’t meet the increasing urbanpopulation demand is more and more fierce, in order to urban sustainable development,it is urgent to solve this problem, so the next development strategy of people will be thehigh altitude and the underground. subway, as a kind of efficient modern transportation,can solve effectively urban congestion problems, so that urban subway construction isburgeoning. The artificial formation horizontal freezing method as a kind of auxiliaryconstruction method of reinforcing soil, with its own unique advantages more and moreused. But, the use of artificial freezing method construction exists many problems alsocaused the attention, such as: the control of the temperature of frozen wall and the timeof freezing actively, the problems of frozen heaving and melt settlement etc. As a result,the numerical analysis of the artificial freezing method construction of subway tunnelhas important significance.First, this article introduced the physical and mechanical characteristics of artificialfrozen soil,the principle of artificial freezing method construction and parameter designsof the frozen wall and the general principle and design method. Then on the basis oftianhe station of guangzhou subway line no.3tunnel project, with the finite elementsoftware ANSYS numerical analysis method, to analysis the temperature field in theactive freezing period and the tunnel excavation in the maintenance freezing period.We can get the following results by numerical analysis: In the active freezingperiod, the law of development of frozen wall temperature field, the law of soiltemperature surrounding freezing pipes as the change of time, and the law of heavingdisplacement of soil; in the maintenance freezing period, According to the process anddisplacement of surrounding rock and of frozen wall and the internal force of supportingstructure in the process of tunnel construction, judge whether the design thickness offrozen wall is reliable.
