Cold-formed thin-steel as the main constituent material of housing, possess severaladvantages with its advantages of such as light weight, good plasticity and toughness,closer to homogeneous and isotropic body, good air tightness and water tightness, flexibledesign, rich resources and recyclable, etc. In recent years, the cold-formed thin-steelhousing gradually enter our country domestic market, the study of the steel structurehousing is also deepening and development in our country, mostly on seismic performanceof the overall housing as well as the combination of wall shear and compression, etc.This paper use ANSYS finite element software to analyze the wall, giving anexplanation of loading measure introduce the load measurement and the mathematicmethod to solving equation. In this paper, we choose the cold-formed thin-steelcombination wall with the model size of is3×3.6m, which including the upper rail, mainkeel steel, skin, self tapping screws and the lower rail several parts, mainly contrast to theinfluence of the shear capacity while changing the main parameters of the combination wallincluding the material of the wall panels, surface number, steeltype, self-tapping screwspacing and the size of hole. Comparing the calculation results of displacement nephogramand stress nephogram.In the end, this paper put forward the paper’s outlook of the paper. First of all, thispaper can provide the basis for preparation of cold-formed thin steel related procedures. Inaddition, the cold-formed steel in China is still not yet formed a unified calculation methodor implementation of norms, all parameters in the different calculation method of thecomposite wall body has not yet form a unified and reliable formula, especially theincomparable steel promotion of new materials, it should be urgent summed up the designbasis.
