In the background of that the country is vigorously promoting the residence industralization and the construction of "beautiful village", It has become an important part of improving the living standards of farmers by constructing comfortable and green countryside buildings. Cold-formed thin-walledarchitecture has its irreplaceable advantages in the construction of the beautiful countryside. But there are lots of problems to be solved in the field of the outer wall energy-saving buiding design. It cludes obviously effect of Steel thermal bridge, poor thermal performance of the wall.In the view of the defects of outer wall energy-saving for the cold-formed thin-walled,providing a theoretical basis for the design and research of the engineering project in the future.Based on a detailed understanding of the development history of domestic and foreign cold-formed thin-walled building. We summarized the development trend and foreign policy standard of domestic and foreign construction of cold-formed thin-walled, it introduced two common cold-formed thin-walled residential steel structure. This paper presents a new system of passive low energy consumption of steel structure residential modified gypsum spraying machine, double- phase free composite wall insulation system. The system fills the blank of lacking flexible connection system for the domestic and foreign steel structure residence which only has "wall" filling system. It is the innovation and development of the "wall" system. It overcomes and solves the "wall" system defects and deficiencies. The combination of this system with cold-formed thin-walled forms a new type of cold-formed green building integrated residence.Considering the composite wall system mentioned above,it proposes a approach for external thermal insulation system which combines several spray printing composite wall with the plates in good insulation propertity. Measured by hot box method, we can get the thermal performance of the ordinary composite wall of XPS panel system, common compound wall phenolic panel system, ordinary composite polyurethane wall plate system, ordinary composite wall EPS panel system and calculate the heat transfer coefficient of ordinary composite wall system. Compared with the heat transfer coefficient each system, found that the poor thermal property ofcommon composite wall system, do not meet the requirements of relevant specification and standards, however the sheet in good insulation properties has a good thermal property can meet the requirements of relevant specification and standards,wherein the heat preservation performance of the ordinary composite polyurethane wall plate system is the best.Based on the field of the measurement, the paper explores the effect of cold bridges on the composite wall system further. The thermal performance of cold-formed thin-walled three layers of office building in Hefei has been analyzed through energy saving analysis software PBECA,.Through simulation and considering the thermal bridge influence of beam, column and slab at bridge on the thermal property of exterior wall, it turns out that the outer insulation system of cold-formed thin-walled green building exterior wall consist of spraying printing composite wall and sheets in good heat preservation property, which can effectively reduce the influence of cold-thermal bridges on the thermal performance of the wall,making the wall weighted average heat transfer coefficient meet the requirements of relevant standards.
