Temperature is an important physical quantity in industry andagriculture. The methods to measure temperature can be roughly divided into twotypes: Contact temperature measurement and Non-contact temperature measurement.Due to the advantage of the Non-contact temperature measurement such as: widemeasuring range, response speedly, non-contact with the object to be tested, no effecton the temperature field of measured object and etc. Non-contact temperaturemeasurement is widely used in equipment fault diagnosis, Product quality control andmonitoring, Security protection and so on. The representative of Non-contacttemperature measurement is Radiation temperature measurement, and the Commoninstrument is radiation thermometer. The amount of radiation thermometer showsascendant trend which temperature range is below200℃and wavelength range isfrom8μm to14μm. How to unify the calibration standard of this model radiationthermometer is an important topic. So through the experiments to solve the followingthree problems appeared in calibration process, for instance: the error caused byblackbody cavity effective emissivity and1deviation, the best distance of calibrationand the effect of size of source. After the strict calibration of radiation thermometer which ensured the reliable ofradiation thermometer. Then the most procedure is to guarantee the accuracy ofradiation measure temperature. The material emissivity is the main way to determinethe temperature of objects. Not only that, the material emissivity plays an importantrole in aerospace, national defense military and some other fields. So, the research ofmaterial emissivity is an important work with scientific significance and obviousengineering application value. The material emissivity is an important parameterwhich has many complex factors. This paper is maily research the temperature effect. In oreder to solve this problem, the principle of the infrared thermometerthermometer was discussed firstly and an expression of the emissivity was obtained. On this basis, a system is developed to quantify the emissivity. The system iscomposed of blackbody, infrared thermometer, temperature controller and otherdevices. The accuracy of this system has been proved by experiments. Finally, analysis the synthesis standard uncertainty for the designed emissivity measurementis less than3%.
