This paper firstly introduces the Chinese energy structure and consumption situation, pointed out our country as the energy to produce big country of big country and consumption, energy production and consumption are facing severe challenges, in energy production and consumption, must insist to carry out energy saving policy.Fluid flow in pipes, if we ignore the pipe and external heat exchange, it can be regarded as a continuous adiabatic throttling process. Throttling process is typical of the irreversible process, is the process of entropy increase, process must produce irreversible loss. The throttling phenomenon in detail, analyzes the throttling process thermodynamic properties, especially for the actual flow restriction after the change in temperature, i.e. Joule Thomson effect are analyzed in detail, summarizes the different water under pressure or steam throttle, throttle coefficient with temperature variation. According to the thermodynamic characteristics of the throttling process, combined with thermodynamic general relations, proposed adiabatic throttling process of entropy coefficient concept, and the analysis of ideal fluid and the actual fluid throttling process information entropy, the entropy coefficient of throttling, to reflect the entropy generation change, thus throttling process irreversible loss analysis. Fuel in pipeline transport also belong to the throttling effect, by throttling the entropy change analysis, calculate the fuel pipeline transport energy consumption.
