Landscape environment of the residential area is the most close to the people’senvironment. It is closely related and inseparable to people’s lives. Due to the increase inthe size and number of residential construction, and the globalization ofinformation.Many residential area design did not consider the local special naturalenvironment, human environment and customs. They did blind westernization. There hasbeen thousands of city side of the phenomenon. It make the living environment of thearea lost their original cultural taste and geographical characteristics.Thesis makes the theory and practice analysis for the old town Fuzhou living arealandscape design, that with a long Linchuan culture. It have been combined with thenatural and human environment of the Fuzhou old city, the Fuzhou’s culturalcharacteristics. Combine the Fuzhou residential areas investigation and assessment, witha focus on Fuzhou residential landscape design strategy and China Crafts courtyardinstance analysis, theoretical research, Methods, case studies, and explore therelationship between the Fuzhou residential area of Linchuan Culture interactions. On thebasis of the theory and practice, summed up the environment of residential areas embodythe cultural characteristics of Fuzhou Linchuan landscape design principles, ideas andmethods, emphasizing the landscape design during Fuzhou local climate, geography, andcultural characteristics of the combination of organic, integrated design, summed up howthe Fuzhou’s Linchuan Culture acted on the landscape design of the residential area,expectations for future Fuzhou residential landscape design provide a theoretical basisand guidance to create a the Linchuan unique cultural characteristics of Fuzhouresidential landscape environment.
