Along with the development of economy, the nonlinear and the impacting of thevoltage have been used widely in the daily life and the electric power system, powerpollution became more serious, the problem of power quality is more progressively,more and more attentions of power system department and consumers turned to thepower quality. With this, traditional industrial control emerges several regrets such aslow efficiency and poor time.With the maturation and development of IT in the domain of industrialautomatism, traditional industrial control emerges. At the same time, industrial controlbased on wireless communication appears and shows tremendous advantages.GPRS communications provides faster connection and data transfer rates. It alsohas advantages such as charge in information and IP-supporting. Intermittent burst outdata transfer and sporadic vast data transfer are supported, which highly adapts to thecharacteristics and requirements.Based on the study of distribution transformers on-line monitoring technology atdomestic and abroad, a distribution transformers on-line monitoring system isdeveloped on the basis of the development of GPRS. The system not only can be usedin the on-line monitoring under normal circumstances, but also for the alarm in case ofthe failure. This paper introduced the collection principles of three-phase AC voltageand current, and it also introduced the method of calculating for relevant powerparameters, the method of hardware circuit design and software design of the structureabout the distribution transformer monitoring terminator has been also introduced. Forthe satisfaction of speediness, dependability and high precision, we propose a schemeof power quality monitoring system design which based on DSP&ARM. On the basisof this, design the data-processing and display board based on the hardware as the coreof DSP and ARM, fully exert the signal processing capability of DSP and systemcontrolling ability of embedded ARM, in-depth study of communications between DSPand ARM, the expansion of memory and the LCD interface circuit. Meanwhile,theanti-jamming measures of corresponding software and hardware has been adopted inorder to enhance the stability of operating systems and the reliability of data collection.In the hardware platform, to demonstrate the status parameters of distributiontransformers and the basic waveform, research and design a good human-computerinterface based on the Qt/Embedded.Use with application of line loss analysis of the on-line monitoring system.Through this system, we can find the real reason analysis of line loss accurately, so asto take corresponding measures for eliminating defects, power loss.In order to get the irreplaceable function of the on-line monitoring system, thereis an application example in the end of the paper. It can be correctly analysised the realreasons of line loss by this system. Thanks to the system, Electric power enterprisestake steps to defect-elimination, in which retrieving economic losses.
