The mutual combination of distributed generation and large power grid is recognized as the main development trend of the electric power industry, due to the benefits of the flexibility, shorter construction period and environmental friendliness. Some renewable sources are restricted by natural weather conditions which have the random, intermittent strong features. Network-connected distributed generation brings great impacts on voltage distribution, network losses, system protection and reliability of distribution network, and the extent of the impact is closely related with the location and the capacity of distributed generation. So, the research on the optimal allocation of distributed generation must be paid great attention, the distribution network must be adopted reasonable planning.In view of the distribution generation’s characteristics, we evaluated the local renewable energy, based on the theory of dynamic programming and cost effectiveness. A multi-model for DG is developed and an analytical probabilistic approach is proposed for this purpose. Impacts of different parameters such as the production costs, environmental costs and comprehensive benefit, are included in the analysis. The main contents of this article can be summarized as follows:Fist of all, the background and significance of the research are introduced, distributed power optimization planning at home and abroad are described briefly.Secondly, assess the smooth region of the renewable energy availability, put forward a long term power load forecasting modeling method, on the basis of analyzing the power load effect on economic growth, according to the characteristics of introduction of support vector machine (SVM) regression model, then forecast the long term power load.Thirdly, Introduces the different operating mechanism and the circuit model of DG, and aiming at the characteristics of the influence of the electric power system made a correlation analysis. Fractional power optimization configuration index and several common typical model is introduced, then proposes multiple target joint planning model based on the dynamic programming method.Finally, A mathematical model for optimal allocation of distributed generation is established, The model takes the sizes and construction periods of distributed generation as variables and minimum operation cost as objective function, considering the environmental cost of DG. The results of a practical distribution system show that the method proposed can get reasonable site and size of distributed generation, greatly improving the economics and environmental protection of the power system.
