DSSC has gradually become a new type of solar cells because of its low costs、simple process and stable photoelectric property. Anode and counter electrode play animportant role in DSSC. Improving efficiency and reducing costs are becoming a mainfocus in DSSC research. The research work focus on the anode and counter electrode inthis paper.1. TiO2porous film has been prepared by using different kinds of methods. Theeffects of photoelectric efficiency, including film thickness、sintering process andcomponents are studied. The results show that morphology of TiO2thin film electrode isbetter using screen printing technology. Dispersant was added in the TiO2to prevent theoccurrence of TiO2reunion, which improving the transparency of the film and the dyeadsorption. The photoelectric conversion efficiency of adding dispersant was increasedto1.6%. By optimizing the film thickness, the photoelectric conversion efficiency iseventually increased to2.6%.2. Anode had been surface treatment before discussing the effect of doping CNT onphotoelectric efficiency by SEM、EDS and optical performance testing. Experimentalresults show that: when adding optimum amount of CNT about0.4wt%, thephotoelectric conversion efficiency can be up to2.26%. Acid treatment of the CNT canimprove its binding capacity with TiO2, The photoelectric conversion efficiencyincreases from2.56%to2.84%because of short-circuit current and the fill factorimproving. The results demonstrate that adding an appropriate amount of dispersedCNT is indeed possible to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of thebattery.3. The preparation process of counter electrode has been studied. The influence ofthe photoelectric conversion efficiency has been discussed using different materialssuch as carbon black、CNT and Pt. The results show that: the cell efficiency of carbonblack electrode is lower than that of Pt. However, the photovoltage、photocurrent ofusing CNT electrodes were increased to0.69v and5.8mA, respectively. The cellconversion efficiency is up to1.88%. Finally, the CNT-doped anode and CNT electrode was assembly and tested, whichthe photovoltage、photocurrent were increased to0.72v and8.1mA.Compared totraditional cell, the new type cell’s efficiency was up to2.69%.The cell’s conversionefficiency has been significantly improved by optimizing the two electrodes parameters.The new research direction of electrode preparation has been proposed by doping CNTin two electrodes.
