Asphalt concrete pavement has been widely used, with the continuous progress and development of science and society. However, when in winter, ice freezing on road, which will cause increasing accident, traffic jam and low transport efficiency, make it difficult for us to get around. Conductive asphalt concrete emerged after years of pursing effective methods of deicing and snow melting.In order to make the common insulating asphalt concrete good conductively and heating, we have to add appropriate type and dosage conductive material to the common asphalt concrete. That is the new advanced type of composite material--conductive asphalt concrete. The research of the new advanced composite is of great significance because the conductive asphalt concrete pavement has no negative effects to the traffic when melting ice. What’s more, it is also time-limited and environmental.We have to know the conducting mechanism in order to understand the conductivity behavior of the conductive asphalt concrete. There is not much research on the conductive mechanism of conductive asphalt concrete, and many of them are analyzing on the base of experimental data. In this paper, we will use conductive mechanism of Polymer-based conductive composites for reference; perform numerical simulation of the conductive mechanism of conductive asphalt concrete, study the conductive mechanism of conductive asphalt concrete through calculating the electrical conductivity of conductive asphalt concrete. At last we will extract reasonable and deeply conductive mechanism of the conductive behavior of conductive asphalt concrete after synthesizing several kinds of conducting model of conductive asphalt concrete.Using the theory of inclusion in the microcosmic mechanics to predict the elastic modulus of conductive asphalt concrete with conductive phase material; Establishing the real model of asphalt concrete pavement making use of large finite element software ANSYS; Calculating the pavement deflection、bottom layer tensile stress and interface shear stress of conductive asphalt concrete pavement in different elastic modulus of middle course. We can conclude the relationship between conductive material content and the Pavement-Performance of conductive asphalt concrete pavement through comparing the finite element calculation results and the theory calculation results, which verified the reliability of the finite element calculation.Establishing the finite element model of asphalt concrete pavement making use of large finite element software ANSYS, taking the environmental factor into consideration, we will know the distribution of temperature field and the function of deicing and snow melting of the graphite conductive asphalt concrete pavement under a proper voltage.
