| The construction and development of city has always been an important subject of people’s attention. How to reshape the city characteristics and to continue the historical context of the city has been a problem we need to face. Regional characteristics and culture being integrated into the urban landscape is also a way to show the city to the world. Only when regional characteristics and culture are understood fully and comprehensively and dig deeply, making it melts into the landscape, can we really highlight the city’s characters On highlighting the urban landscape features, regional landscape of city can be used as a carrier. The regional landscape is built on the basis of deep understanding of the geographical features of the city, such as the region’s natural geography, topography, climate conditions and the historical context and regional culture of this region and so on. Regional landscape is a reflection or expression of these characteristics different from other features.Hainan is known as a green pearl of China’s sea and is recognized as one of the purest lands which are not polluted in the world. Hainan owns tropical monsoon forest climate, unique seaside landscape, romantic tropical scenery, a variety of plant resources and unique ethnic customs. In the context of the construction of Hainan international tourism island, Hainan is an important window of China to communicate with the world. It is requested that Hainan landscape should not only has local characteristics and culture connotation but also can give a person a sense of belonging and identity. In landscape design in Hainan, we should fully understand the island environment, tropical climate conditions and regional culture and at the same time combine our design with modern technique and trend.Started with the regional concept, this thesis analyzed the relationship between regional culture and regional landscape. Through the natural environment, climate conditions in Hainan, Hainan layout and regional culture, this thesis analyzed the influencing factors on the regional characteristics of Hainan landscape, and excavated the available resources and material can be expressed in the regional landscape. Combined with the modern landscape development trend, this thesis looked for the methods of expression and principles of design and summarized the shortcomings of Hainan landscape in terms of regional expression. Combined with the theory and practice of Hainan regional landscape, the article tries to figure out the feasibility of the program to solve the problem. |
