With the rapid development of the domestic economy, the life quality of people has improved at a certain extent. And it seems that advanced demands to the illuminating system, which focus on the feature, function and durability, etc, appear successively. However, a new-type lighting system, which is called infrared remote control system integrating dimming and switch into a product, has been designed to facilitate the lives of people.In design, we take ATmegal6L SCM (single chip microcomputer) as control CPU, take ATmega8L as infrared send control CPU, control the lamplight function by infrared communication and improve the technology of digital operation and automatic regulation.The paper particularly emphasizes on transmitter and receiver modules of infrared illuminating system, and the control modules of lamplight and intelligence. In research, we not only utilize ATmega8L to transmit and receive infrared signal but also make further filtering and processing to control the light effect. In design, we program SCM by CodeVision AVR. And after improvements of design effect, the infrared intelligent illuminating system is available to launch and receive signal accurately and the light effect changes softer with a gradual transition of intelligent system and a convenient regulation of liquid crystal display, which the public will benefit from lighting system.
