Electrical energy for the growth of the national economy and social progress provides the safeguard, convenient and efficient electricity measurement is an improtant link in electrical energy management,a series of problems about electrical energy measurement are increasingly prominent, such as:less overcharged, the price is too high or too low, over-voltage, over-current and its harm to enterprise users, and so on. Aiming at these problems, comparing with the electricity measurement methods, especially the design methods of intelligent watt-hour.This dissertation proposed a new method of desiging intelligent watt-hour meter which based on the NIOSII soft core technology,so as to improve the defects of traditional watt-hour meter.The articles explain the research and design process of multi-functional intelligent energy meter in detail. The design and development of the system design using Altera Corporation FPGA core and embedding NIOSII soft core processor, combine ADI’s high-speed special measuring chip ADE7758of a program.the Hall current sensor conversion of current and voltage through the design, Finally, the combination of hardware and software details the specific design of the power meter.System design multifunctional smart energy meter has RS485protocol standard bus network gateway meter collection, communication, and control of the meter can be achieved with near remote terminal, and receive reliable data transmission, bettersolve the problem the energy meter energy metering.The article first describes the background materials related domestic and foreign technology development and technical components the the smart energy meter, and then followed the description of the overall structure and design thinking methods the energy meter; followed by both hardware and software aspects of the design of the software part the the system,the hardware main speakers embedded soft core process of establishing Note,It the implemented in Quartus11.0;Software design process and design principles, starting from the various modules and create a block diagram to make the system run more glance, this part is in NIOSⅡ IDE; Finally, in order to prevent the system from an accident in the measurement of high-speed acquisition, so the anti-jamming designhas been described. So that the entire multi-functional intelligent energy meter design. Look at the features and functions of the energy meter, FPGA and special measuring chip ADE7758and RS485bus network technology to achieve a large-scale acquisition of power parameters compared to traditional power meter is much better, has incomparable advantages.
