In recent years, with the rapid development of computer hardware and software, and the gradually perfect of acoustic theory, the simulation technology of enclosedsound field has developed from the initial scale model technology to the digital soundfield simulation, namely using computer to simulate sound field. As a new researchidea of enclosed sound field, the technology has the advantages of fast, convenient, economic, and becomes the research focus of many scholars. So,with the trend some simulation software of the sound field are successivelydeveloped, and their functions are innovated constantly which bring great convenienceto software users, and also improve the level of the acoustic quality design. Such as, arepresentative software in the field of architectural acoustics simulation-ODEON.However, due to the complexity of the enclosed sound field and the reliability of thealgorithm of the software itself, there is certain deviation between the simulationsound field and real sound field, resulting in simulation error of the hall acousticindexes cannot be avoided. So,some methods can only be taken to to optimize thesimulation error. Therefore, this article consider form the significant factors ofimpacting simulation results of ODEON: acoustic parameters, the finesse of modeland absorption coefficient of sound-absorbing material, combining with the actualproject cases to make experiments to discuss respectively these main influencingfactors.Firstly, the paper explores the value fluctuation of acoustic parameters need beentered(sound scattering coefficient, transition order, number of rays, impulseresponse length) influnce for simulation accuracy of acoustic indicators. Due to Someacoustic parameters basically have not test basis, the setting of their values can onlyrely on the user experience, such as the scattering coefficient. Therefore, throughexperimental research, the optimum value range of these parameters can be obtainedfor this nature and scale of hall similar to a university multi-function hall, which canachieve the effect of reducing the simulation error. Secondly, the paper presents the influence of model finesse for acousticindicators calculation results, through acoustic indicators simulation for the meticulousand simplified model of swimming pool and multi-purpose hall, and the comparativeanalysis of simulation results. Experimental results show that, sometimes certainsimplification of the mode will improve the precision and speed of the computersimulation. Finally, through experiment object-image view lab laboratory projects case, thepaper explores the problem that different set of absorption coefficient for the samekind of sound-absorbing material will seriously affect the simulation results ofacoustic indicators. The experimental results demonstrate that the material absorptioncoefficient obtained from "field measurement method" can better reflects its soundabsorption properties in the hall, so that the simulation and real sound field can have abetter corresponding relation. In summary, the experimental conclusions of this article have obviousoptimization effect for the ODEON software simulation error, can also provide someguidance for sound field simulation in practical engineering case.
