Permanent magnet synchronous motor because of its high efficiency, highreliability, high torque, strong anti-interference ability and many other advantages, iswidely used in a variety of high-performance system. Permanent magnet synchronousmotor sensorless vector control has become one of the current hot research spot in thefield of motor control. For the traditional sensorless vector control systems ofpermanent magnet synchronous motor, a new sensorless vector control method isproposed based on the power factor control. And the sensorless permanent magnetsynchronous motor speed control system is designed on the basis of this method.In this paper, a power factor voltage reference frame system is established bydetailed analysis of the mathematical models for the permanent magnet synchronousmotor and vector control principle. The system mainly based on the current parameterdesign, and can be used to estimate the rotor position and rotor speed with the powerfactor angle by the derivation of the mathematical model, and then from point of viewof the high power factor control and efficiency drive to configure the stator current,this stator current is arranged in the vicinity of the current minimum trajectory, andthe parameters can be reasonably designed. This method not only can control thespeed, but also ensure high power factor and high efficiency drive of the permanentmagnet synchronous motor.According to this sensorless vector control system can be establish sensorlesspermanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system simulation model basedpower factor control with MATLAB/Simulink simulation technology. The simulationanalysis of system proved the effectiveness and feasibility of this control method.Finally TMS320F2812as the control chip of the digital signal processor (DSP), anddesign hardware and software of the system briefly.By theoretical analysis and simulation results, the result show that this controlsystem can be applied to salient pole and non-salient pole permanent magnetsynchronous motor, and it has few parameters, and is simpler, the range of the speed ismuch wider., torque ripple is small and be able to guarantee a high power factorwithin the permissible range of the speed, the stator current is disposed in the vicinityof the permitted minimum current loss, thereby reducing the losses of the motor andachieving a high efficiency driving. The system can be estimate the rotor position androtor speed in the low and medium high-speed effectively at the same time. For thissensorless vector control system, it has high static and dynamic performance, and isnot sensitive to parameter variations and has the strong robustness.
