There are two basic methods to improve the measurement accuracy of three coordinate measuring machine:prevention and compensation method.(1) the prevention method is the "hardware", to eliminate or reduce the possible error sources through the design and manufacturing methods, to improve manufacturing precision to meet the requirements for measuring accuracy of three coordinate measuring machine, error prevention method has limitations, even if can realize, economic cost is often very high.(2) compensation method using software technology, artificially produced a new error to offset the original error current, is to improve the accuracy of three coordinate measuring machine is an effective and economical. Through this kind of error compensation of measuring the workpiece exceeds the machine precision in the three coordinate measuring machine, this is the concept of a "precision" of evolution. Now, the compensation technology with strong vitality was quickly recognized by all countries scholars, experts, to ensure the rapid development and popularization, error compensation technology has become one of the important pillars of modern precision engineering technology.
